The CV5 is our middle Smoothness limb.
More details...On our 1-10 scale of smoothness, 10 being actual letoff, the 9 sits right on the edge. 1 being a conventional recurve. Our CV2s sit a little smoother. the CV5 sits right in the middle with 1lb gain per inch at the backend of the draw.
This delivers Fantastic energy. The energy stored in a conventional limb never superpasses 0.92foot pounds of energy per pound held at 28". the CV2 is 0.98 The CV5 surpasses this to 1.1ft/Lbs per pound held. This gives Faster arrow speed than the CV2 and users tell us the CV2 leaves our competition behind.
The limb is a solid Super recurve, aimed directly at Field archers, Although Target archers who struggle with reaching the target REALLY find these limbs a benefit. They suit very small crawls for string walking, but excel at fingers touching the nock methods of shooting. Mediterranean or 3 under. they boast solid vertical stability at full draw, and at brace meaning their super recurve geometry doesnt hold you back, when hunting for golds.
The energy level in these will also not struggle under ANY situation, especially where normal geometry limbs might struggle
The CV5 uses our in house Carbon laminate layup, again where we use zero glass fiber in the limb. this delivers a industry leading dynamically light mass limb.
The CV5 delivers all the aspects of a super recurve that many seek. It delivers performance that exceeds all currently known super recurves on the market that we know of for speed. because of the energy and light mass.
This is our middle tier super recurve, so doesnt have the pioneering energy levels and smoothness of the bigger recurve, but is easy to setup and delivers unrivaled performance.
We recommend this limb for all finger touching nock shooting styles where energy is a serious positive, but not the No1 focus.
Brace height is 7-7.5" and the string is 1" (string makers detail specifics might vary) shorter than the bows length for the brace height
