The Mirage series has three limb high models all of complex carbon construction. Models are XP10 carbon, XP30 Express carbon and the highest performing bow limb the HEXIV (High Energy Express) Limb.
What is most significant of all of these limbs are the exceptionally high levels of torsional rigidity designed into every limb. This feature makes the limb very accurate, stable and forgiving of release errors.
The XP10 carbon limb ; exceptional overall performance with speed and smoothness to rival any of the top performing bows on the market. A clear glass limb over Elm with a limb construction of 7 individual laminates. The price of the XP10 limb rivals many of the conventional 4 laminate limbs currently available and competes with best but most of all much more stable and forgiving to shoot.
The XP30 Express carbon has all of the amazing stability and forgiveness of the XP10 but also offers extra speed and smoothness. For 2005 torsional stiffness has been improved enabling the XP30 to have the same limb profile as the HEXIV.
The HEXIV limb is constructed using Border’s own new technology TX40 bow facings. These facings are more than twice as strong as conventional clear bow laminates and 40% lighter resulting in one of the lightest limb construction available. The TX40 bow facing also offers around 20% increased torsional rigidity further enhancing the limbs stability and forgiving nature.
