Illustrated are: Two Black Douglas Super Swift risers both crafted in Shedua sandwiching Cocobolo. The riser on the right with optional finger grooves and the riser on the left with the CX riser reinforcements and accessory insert.
The CX option doubles the reinforcements in the riser enabling the archer to shoot lighter arrows (refer to minimum arrow weights). The CX option is also an essential requirement for extra heavy -weight bows over 80lbs. The Black Douglas Swift has a 19" riser and 3.5" sight window, bow lengths available range from 58" to 64".
All BD risers are all truly deflexed in design to ensure maximum stability and forgiving accuracy and have a host of options available to tailor the bow to your needs. For timbers see the description on the Black Douglas risers.
Also available across the series are quiver and accessory inserts, thumb bolts, buffalo and or carbon overlays along with a host of customisations.
The Black Douglas Swift offers a long riser to limb length on the 58" model giving a crisper performance for those with a shorter draw or at 64" a long limb to short riser combination for those long draw archers looking for an ultra smooth draw. For most though the 60" and 62" models will give optimum results from a well-balanced bow.
Available in high, medium or low grip or the bow can be custom built to individual specification.
