Suggested Arrow Weights for Traditional Bows
Field / Hunting bows are designed to operate with heavier arrows. Shoot an arrow that is too light and you can easily over stress the bow. Shooting a bow without an arrow will overstress the bow and may cause damage to it. We have therefore included here minimum arrow weights for use with our bows.

For those tournament archers looking to shoot arrows weighing close to the minimums stated may wish to consider ordering the CX riser option thereby maximising speed and accuracy at distance.

For Bowhunters we strongly urge you to consider using arrows in the 9 to 10 grains per pound of bow weight for all large game and even heavier on the heavy weight animals. Heavy weight arrows produce better results utilising the bows energy to maximum effect.
