Border Archery has been making quality bows in Scotland since 1940. During that time the Company has had various names. These are:
Border Archery Ltd 1975 to date
a direct descendant of:
Border Bows 1973-75
Kings of Kelso 1969-73
Royal Scots Bows 1963-69
Galloway Bows started 1940
In rural Scotland near the border between England and Scotland lies Border Archery. We are a small company that relies on hand crafting quality bows.
Border Archery has been in this location since 1974.
In 1997 the company came under new owners and has grown ever since.
The demand for Border products by discerning archers is worldwide with bows being sent to all corners of the globe.
Unfortunately we do not have the resources to have full Olympic target ranges here at Border. However we do have Edenvale our Field Course that lies 800 yards from our workshops.
Edenvale is a 40 3D target Field-Course set out in the woodlands of Mellerstain.
It is dedicated to traditional archery with unmarked distance targets. A challenge to any archer!
